Practical English: Reading — Рекомендации по работе с ЭУМК
The «Practical Course of English: Reading» contains English classical detective, crime and mystery short stories.
The course consists of four chapters. There you can find short stories written by mystery and detective greats - Edgar Allan Poe, Robert Louis Balfour Stevenson, Arthur Conan Doyle and Agatha Christie. Each chapter contains vocabulary with new words and their definitions, phrasal verbs, collocations, idioms and word combinations.
All chapters are provided with the original authoring set of exercises. There you can find the following types of them:
- Gap filling;
- Matching;
- Multiple-choice;
- True/ False;
- Quiz;
These exercises are aimed at getting skills in reading and comprehension.
